High Tech Platform

By means of organising trainings, trade fairs, conferences and thematic events Mikrocentrum helps companies for over 40 years with the exchange of knowledge and networking. No wonder that companies feel at home with Mikrocentrum and its High Tech Platform.

Members of the High Tech Platform (right now over 500!) have the advantage. Together with them we make up the Mikrocentrum activity calendar. They benefit from the facilities with which they enhance their technical and commercial network and broaden and deepen their knowledge. They improve the reputation of their products and services in their market.

Furthermore members enjoy extra discounts on many Mikrocentrum activities and promote their company profile in the market, amongst others through their company page in the High Tech Company guide.

General information

 For whom?

Member companies are often active in or supplier of the technical manufacturing industry. It involves products, services, raw materials, knowledge, semi-finished products and processes, all which constitutes the chain. Mikrocentrum focusses with its activities and services on the Benelux. Nevertheless most members are also active outside this region.

With regard to the size of the businesses the spread within the platform represents the sread in the market. So there are OEM's, knowledge institutions, branch associations, government agencies but also self employed people and small startup companies. The main part consists of SMB's. Mikrocentrum helps self employed people and startup companies with a 50% reduction in the membership charges.

Contrary to common belief Mikrocentrum is not a local company. Only 30% of the members resides in the province of Brabant. Mikrocentrum unroll its activities expressly in the whole of the Netherlands and Flanders.

 Activities

Mikrocentrum tunes its activities with the members of the High Tech Platform operates demand driven. Members take part in programme commitees of trade fairs and conferences, lecture programmes, self initiated workgroups etc. They provide teachers, speakers, exhibitors, technical experts, thematic event ideas etc. They also unite as Mikrocentrum clusters on trade fairs (ZZP collective, ESEF HTP collective, Pieze collective etc.). Furthermore networking meetings are organised, exclusively for member companies. During these meetings people make contact in a structured but informal atmosphere.

Other members prefer a less active attitude, They just want te be found through Mikrocentrum network, especially by various publications for the HTP members and their profile page in the High Tech Company guide (hardcopy edition 6000 copies, over 5000 online visits each week!) and if desired a showcase in our exhibition hall.

 Benefits

There are benefits for all members, whether they are in for acquiring knowledge or expanding the visibility of their company.

As a foundation Mikrocentrum's main motive is not primarily making profit and therefor we can keep costs at a low level. Many members take part in several activities each year so their annual membership subscription fee becomes negligible.

As stated under the heading 'Activities' a major advantage is that members can actively take part in Mikrocentrum activities to broaden and deepen their knowledge, enhance their technical and commercial network and to create exposure for their companies in the market.

Concrete financial benefits.

When (employees of) member companies register for Mikrocentrum events or trainings they automatically are entitled to major discounts (up to 10% discount on trainings, free of charge table top presentations at thematic events, 10% discount when exhibiting at trade fairs and conferences,...) The benefits quiclu mount up. Also the four free relationship invitation cards for visiting thematic events represent a (maximum) value of € 1200,-!

What once was a compilation of the expertise of Mikrocentrum members has evolved into the High Tech Company guide with the commercial profiles of all members of the Mikrocentrum High Tech Platfoem. We are proude to tell that the High Tech Company guide has grown into an entity of its own. A renowned and well known reference for anyone looking for something in manufacturing: if it is about supporting services, a product or a manufacturing process, an answer will be found.

Members update their digital page through a login process themselves. This ensures that the user is always provided with up to date information. Once each year we capture all those pages for a short time and use them for the hardcopy version of the guide.
