Measurement and calculation skills not only enable you to see a problem from different perspectives, but also to solve complex issues in the most effective way.

Measurement and calculation skills require, among other things, basic mathematical skills for understanding, applying and evaluating (numerical) data. This requires statistical techniques to be followed so that both product development and process control are efficient and unambiguous.

Getting started?

The systematic integration of statistical concepts and methodologies as well as the use of yardsticks, assumptions and standards is the key to success here. Get to work on developing and using geometric measurement tools and methods. Or read and interpret technical drawings. During our statistical engineering courses, develop statistical models and collect and analyse mathematical data.
